Professional Bio:

I am a Toronto-based creative designer with 15+ years of design industry experience in visual communications, illustration, creative direction and usability. I had the opportunity to collaborate with diverse team structures and clients/users in a spectrum of industry sectors.I have a drive for visual problem solving, transforming complex data into compelling stories and analyzing results and customer experiences.

Venngage

Sr. Graphic Designer (2018 - Present)

In my current role at Venngage, a SaaS startup company, I am responsible for curating and designing user-centric templates based on user-cohort research and jobs-to-be-done industry trends.

As a senior designer, I mentor the creative team’s design thinking strategies, user focused processes and template usability guidelines based on template performance analytics and customer use case learnings.

I also provide feedback testing on product features for continuous improvements, create marketing promotional assets to expand brand awareness and plan template goals and/or design experiments for acquisition and retention.

Visually Marketplace

Freelance Creative Director + Design Lead (2012 - 2017)

During my tenure at Visually, I collaborated on a variety of freelancing projects with international clients, executing design deliverables in a timely manner to meet each project milestone. I was also responsible for creative direction and overseeing project roadmaps on projects where I remotely managed (global) junior designers to ensure client expectations were met.

Fuelcontent (FCB Toronto)

Graphic Designer (2008 - 2017)

While working at Fuelcontent, a specialty service advertising agency under the FCB Global network, I collaborated daily with project coordinators, art directors, production and the prepress photo studio departments.

Working in a client-facing environment, I was responsible for creating ROP programs, brochures, flyers, reports, signages and marketing assets for accounts such as Hudson’s Bay Company, Foodland Ontario, RBC, Via Rail, and more.
